Coming Home

I have a harder time than you would imagine stepping back into normal life after a trip.

I did finally get my luggage back at about 6pm the day after I got home. It was kind of nice really. Since I didn't have my makeup, hairbrush, etc, I couldn't get dressed for work. Since I couldn't go to work, I worked from home.

We have IP telephones, so as long as I have an office phone and a broadband Internet connection I can function anywhere. Not being at the office gave me the opportunity to do the things that had piled up on me while I was gone with much less interruption.

I would love to have the luxury to not work on the day after returning a trip. I think it would make me much easier to live with.
